Aloha Blinds & Designs – Limited Lifetime Warranty

Lifetime Warranty from Aloha Blinds & Designs warrants that your window coverings will be free from defects in materials and operating mechanisms as per the manufacturers’ warranty for as long as the original purchaser owns the product.  Aloha Blinds & Designs is to repair or replace only the components found to be defective with like or most similar parts or products.

COVERED:

Internal mechanisms, components & brackets

Operational Cords

  • Hunter Douglas: 7-year warranty on operational cords from date of purchase & Motorization components are covered for 5 years.
  • Norman Window Fashions:  7-year warranty on operational cords & 5 year on motorized components.
  • Alta Window Fashions:  5-year warranty on operational cords and on motorized components.
  • Graber:  3-year warranty on operating cords & 5 years on motorized components.

NOT COVERED:

  • Normal wear & tear.
  • Exposure to the elements (sun damage, wind, water/moisture) which may cause discoloration, fading, shrinking, warping, stretching, or cracking over time.  
  • Accidents, misuse, abuse, or alterations to the product.
  • Shipping costs for warranty service and labor costs for removal/reinstallation of product.
  • Batteries for motorized products.

OTHER EXCLUSIONS:

Also not covered is damage due to excessive humidity, dust, fur, or dirt.  In addition, failure to follow manufactures instructions with regards to operating, cleaning and/or maintenance. This warranty does not transfer from original purchaser and does not cover any condition or damage resulting from removal of the product or re-installation.

Contact Aloha Blinds & Designs at (541) 317- 4684 regarding warranty service.  We will work with the manufacturer to repair or replace the defective parts or components.  All warranty claims must be accompanied by original proof of purchase (receipt) as well as details of the problem.  The detailed warranty for each manufacturer can be found on their consumer websites, or Aloha Blinds & Designs can provide a copy upon request.

Please Note: This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other obligations, liabilities, or warranties. In no event shall Aloha Blinds & Designs, or its licensed fabricators/distributors be liable or responsible for incidental or consequential damages or for any other direct or indirect damage, loss, cost, expense, or fee. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. This exclusion or limitation may not apply to your state.
